Patient Portal Terms of Use and Consent
Please read these terms carefully before using this portal. By checking the “I Agree” box and continuing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
Purpose of the Portal
This patient portal has been established to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals. Services may include the sharing of medical information, review of laboratory and imaging results, follow-up consultations, the provision of medical advice where appropriate, prescriptions where appropriate, and other healthcare-related services.
This portal is intended to complement, and not replace, conventional face-to-face medical care.
Important Limitations
You understand and agree that consultations conducted through the portal have inherent limitations.
Doctors may be unable to make an accurate diagnosis solely on the basis of information submitted electronically, including written descriptions of symptoms, photographs, videos, laboratory results, or other information provided through the portal.
Physical examination, blood tests, imaging studies, biopsies, and other investigations may be necessary to establish an accurate diagnosis and formulate an appropriate treatment plan.
In some situations, the information provided through the portal may be insufficient for a proper assessment. For more complex matters, a scheduled teleconsultation session may be required. Where appropriate, you will be advised to arrange either a formal teleconsultation session or an in-person consultation.
For the majority of new medical concerns, you may be advised to attend the clinic for an in-person consultation.
If your condition appears urgent or potentially life-threatening, you will be advised to seek immediate treatment at the nearest emergency department.
The availability of this portal does not create an obligation on the part of the doctor to provide immediate advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
Messages submitted through the portal may not be reviewed immediately, and response times cannot be guaranteed.
Submission of a message through this portal does not establish that a consultation has taken place. A consultation is considered to have occurred only after the information has been reviewed and a response has been provided by a human healthcare professional.

This portal is not intended for emergency situations.
Please do not use this portal if you experience any of the following:
- Chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe bleeding
- Loss of consciousness
- Stroke symptoms

- Severe allergic reactions
- Major injuries
- Any other serious or rapidly worsening medical condition
If you believe that you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should immediately contact the relevant emergency services or proceed immediately to the nearest emergency department.
Communication Methods
The Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) does not permit formal medical consultations solely through ordinary telephone calls or social media applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, WeChat, or similar platforms.
These communication channels may be used only for administrative purposes, including appointment scheduling, billing matters, transmission of documents, and other non-clinical communications.

Certain functions within this portal may utilise artificial intelligence tools to assist with administrative and clinical support functions, including message triage, summarisation, transcription, translation, document preparation, and the organisation of information.
These tools are intended solely to assist healthcare professionals and do not replace professional medical judgement.
All diagnoses, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, referrals, and clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating doctor or other authorised healthcare professional.
The use of this portal does not create a doctor-patient relationship until the information submitted has been reviewed and acted upon by a human healthcare professional.
